System Tips & Tricks: 

Data Entry/Look-Up Shortcut Keys:

• Filter Records (Search) = Alt – F
• Reload / Get Data = Alt – G
• Sort Records = Alt – O
• New Record = Alt – N
• Copy Record = Alt – Y
• Delete Selected Record = Alt – D
• Update Record (Edit) = Alt – U
• Process Update (Save) = Alt – S
• Cancel Update (Undo) = Alt – Q

Shortcuts for Text Boxes

• Open Choice List = Alt – C
• Open Date-Time Picker = Alt – T
• Open Zoom window = Alt – X
• Insert “Now” in to date / date-time fields = Shift – N
• Move out of Group Section (move to next section) = Shift – (right arrow)
• Move up a row when in a Group Section = Shift – (up arrow)
• Move down a row when in a Group Section = Shift – (down arrow)
• Copy the cell above into the current cell = Shift –” (quote)
• Clear the entire row of data = Alt – B
